Albert Ed'ward Nyan'za, a lake on the boundary line between the Kongo Free State and Uganda, Africa, which was discovered by Stanley in 1876 and named for the Prince of Wales, now King Edward VII, in 1889. It is one of the sources of the Nile and is connected with Albert Nyanza by the Semliki River.
