ANACAMPSEROS (from anakampto, to cause return, and eros, love). SYN. Rulingia. ORD. Portulacaceae. Very dwarf greenhouse succulent herbs or sub-shrubs, natives of the Cape of Good Hope. Flowers large, expanding only in the heat of the sun; petals five, very fugacious; sepals five, opposite, oblong, rather concrete at the base; pedicels one-flowered, short or elongated, disposed in racemes.
