Genus ANTICARSIA Hubner Of the two species of the genus found within our limits we give a figure of the one which most commonly occurs. (1) Anticarsia gemmatilis Hubner, Plate XXXVII, Fig. 10, Male. The moth is found through the valley of the Mississippi from Wisconsin to Texas. Genus ANTIBLEMMA Hubner (1) Antiblemma inexacta Walker, Plate XXXVI, Fig. 23, Male. Syn. canalis Grote. This is a variable insect, to which a number of subspecific names have been given, based upon slight differences in the markings of the wings. It is found in the Southern States, and ranges thence to the southern portions of the South American continent. Genus LITOPROSOPSUS Grote (1) Litoprosopsus futilis Grote & Robinson, Plate XXXVII, Fig. 4, Male. The insect occurs in Florida and Georgia and also in the hotter portions of America.
