Genera Caenurgia, Euclidia & Panula

Genus CAENURGIA Walker (1) Caenurgia convalescens Guenee, Plate XXX, Fig. 17, male. Syn. socors Walker; purgata Walker. The range of this insect is from Canada to Florida and west-ward to the Mississippi. (2) Caenurgia adversa Grote, Plate XXX, Fig. 18, male. The habitat of the species is California. Genus EUCLIDIA Ochsenheimer We show two of the four species which are known to occur within our faunal limits. (1) Euclidia cuspidea Hubner, Plate XXX, Fig. 20, female. The moth is found from Canada to the Carolinas and Georgia and thence westward to the Mississippi. (2) Euclidia intercalaris Grote, Plate XXX, Fig. 19, male. This is a rather rare species in collections. It is found in New Mexico and the southwestern States. Genus PANULA Guenee (1) Panula inconstans, Plate XXX, Fig. 21, male. Not uncommon in the southern States.
