gaw'dal kwiv'ur, a river of Spain, which rises in the frontiers of Murcia, traverses Andalusia from northeast to southwest, passing the towns of Cordova and Seville, and thereafter flowing southwest, falls into the Atlantic. Its course is 250 miles, of which 70 are navigable. It abounds with fish.
