Table Mountain, a mountain situated in South Africa, overlooking Cape Town and Table Bay. Its height is 3582 feet. It takes its name from its peculiar shape, having a broad, flat top. Table Mountain adjoins Devil's Mount, on the east, and the Sugarloaf, on the west. It is frequently covered with a white cloud, which is called the "tablecloth."
